X, Y standard laser tables range from a 15"x 15" to 51" x
100". Aim allows a wide latitude in configuration so
that the customer gets the right table for the application(s).
Aim's standard line of X, Y tables will meet or exceed the
performance of any equivalent product. These tables
are built from the finest, heavy duty steels (including stainless)
and are meant to last for many years with nominal maintenance.
All table working tops are monotonic in design for rigidity,
stressed relieved for minimal environental effect, and precision
ground to better than .001". Precision rails, bearing
blocks, and other components are used to achieve very accurate
and repeatable operation: typically +-.002"/ft. Higher
accuracy tables can be ordered. Aim's extensive experience
in vibration control means that the tables are designed for
minimal vibration.
Aim' offers alternative gantry designs to suit specific applications.
Standard models use ball scew drives for the gantries.
High speed raster scan models use a precision belt drive
(model A12 & A 24) or precision linear drives (model
A 48 & A 96).
Aim also offers the option to mount various one or two axis
scanning mirror systems onto the gantry. For some applications
this will greatly enhance productivity.
Customers can order various options for the bases for any
of the models. These options would include metal cabinet
doors, casters, or even custom design bases.
Aim can provide an enclosure design that best suits the material
processing methods for a particular application. Enclosures
can be fitted with vacumm and filter systems as required for
the materials being processed.
Options such as rollers for handling heavy items, spindles
for doing work on curved (circular) surfaces, nozzels
for positive air pressure or creating a non-oxidizing atmoshere
(e.g., nitrogen gas) can be provided as customers require.
