Aim Controls makes a wide variety of X-Y tables for almost any application. Shown below in the rotating images are just a few of the many X-Y tables that Aim has developed.

Size:

Standard Tables range from 12" x 12" working area (300mm x 300mm) to 48" x 96" (1225 mm x 2450 mm). Smaller and larger tables are available. The weight load can vary from just a couple of pounds to hundreds of pounds.

Table Types:

Aim can design anything from just an X-Y gantry to a complex five axis robotic system (X-Y-Z-Theta) for special milling, laser, or robotic applications.

Applications:

Aim makes X-Y tables for lasers (marking, cutting, engraving), micro-positioning, routers, inspection systems, dispensers, or just about ant type of commercial or industrial application.

Accuracy:

Aim can make the X-Y table with almost any desired accuracy. Aim has made low cost X-Y gantries that are accurate to a fraction of an inch, or super precision tables that are accurate to micron or submicron capability.

Speeds:

Aim utilizes the best motor/driver for the particular application. For some things, a stepper system with lead screws will suffice. For others, Aim will employ DC servos, and for high speed and very high accuracy, Aim may use linear motors.

G5 Motion Controller:

For most of its X-Y table applications, Aim will utilize its own G5 motion control system. For example, it may use its G5 to create a three axis linear motor driver for a very high precision X-Y that has high speed, load and repeatability requirements. Or Aim might employ a G5 with its two axis micro-stepping driver or two axis DC brushless driver for a less demanding application. See the various G5 controller options and if you don't see exactly the type of motor system you need, contact Aim - it almost certainly can build whatever you need. And Aim has many options for controls and user interfaces from color touch screens, to joysticks, to PC interfaces.
